Todd Snyder returned to the runway after a four-year absence
Todd Snyder recently unveiled his all-new 2025 spring/summer collection, themed "Villa America." Inspired by the lives of American expatriates in France's Riviera during the 1920s, the collection features a range of 80s and early 90s sugar-coated suits. Snyder's design incorporates Milanese pleats and English-American luxury fabrics and tailoring, a signature blend of design techniques for the brand. Combining New York's classic venue, the gentlemanly style showcased by the clothing, and the models strolling leisurely through a restaurant, the show can be summed up in one word: "elegance."
Palomo Spain Spring/Summer 2025 Collection Debuts
Alejandro Gomez Palomo has explored the complexities of human sexuality and spirituality, resulting in a conflict between secular desires and divine aspirations. Inspired by Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki and fashion photographer Helmut Newton, this season seamlessly blends the aesthetics of restraint, floral imagery, and retro charm.
Palomo's silhouettes, which have already mastered the technique of blurring gender boundaries, have been enhanced with metal fringe, chrysanthemum knitwear, crystal embellishments, and exaggerated designs such as ultra-short leather shorts resembling underwear. This season also brings elements that have never been seen in previous collections: a coat with sturdy shoulders and a giant bow, a pure white tuxedo with a black collar, and a striped suit with a collar that transforms and drapes like a cape.
A.PRESSE x CONVERSE Release First Collaborative Sports Shoes
A.PRESSE, which specializes in vintage and gender-neutral styles, has teamed up with CONVERSE for the first time. The ALL STAR series features a flat sole inspired by the 1980s, a diagonal star heel label from the latter half of the 1950s to the early 1960s, and side panels adorned with lining from the 1980s until then. The side seams have the retro narrow seams and fine thread heads characteristic of the original ALL STAR, injecting a pure vintage atmosphere into the collaborative model.
Off-White™ releases Spring/Summer 2025 collection
Founded by Virgil Abloh, Off-White™ made its debut at New York Fashion Week with a Spring/Summer 2025 collection called Duty Free, set in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Inspired by sportswear, this season's women accentuate the body with sharp and sexy cuts and hand-drawn details. For example, jumpsuits are designed with a deep V-neck to enhance sex appeal, while leggings are paired with pointed sandals to create a unique style where the bottoms separate. Cropped blazers form another major silhouette with lightweight skirts that add a touch of understatement with a second blazer tied around the waist.
Ib Kamara took a more natural approach to menswear with a collection of modular urban-style uniforms that included functional zippers, signature embroidery, twisted tannins and asymmetrical layers. He paid special attention to the design of the vest and jacket hem, and added a zipper panel to the front of the pants. There is also a blazer with a patch of the brand's logo, and a hoodie featuring the work of Ghanaian artist Nana Danso.
