Missoni FW24 Is a Kaleidoscope of Geometric Stripes
Missoni's Fall/Winter 2024 collection centers around stripes, reinterpreting the pattern in various ways. Creative director Filippo Grazioli designed an expansive lineup of colorful, geometric pieces with a balance of masculine and feminine tropes.
The collection featured strong shoulders, draping textiles, and structured fur coats. In contrast, knitwear creations were kept soft with multi-colored, textural designs. The focus was on the fashion's relationship with the human body, showcased by models' strides.
The collection was presented at Milan Fashion Week.

Shop price inflation eases in February
Shop price annual inflation eased to 2.5% in February amid falling clothing prices, down from 2.9% in January.
The annual shop price inflation in the UK fell to its lowest rate since March 2022, according to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and NielsenIQ. Non-food inflation also remained low, while clothing prices declined due to retailers’ promotions. However, furniture, electricals, and health and beauty products saw rising prices.
Helen Dickinson, BRC chief executive, warned of significant uncertainties ahead due to geopolitical tensions and rising shipping costs. Retailers also face a major rise in business rates bills in April. Mike Watkins, NielsenIQ's head of Retailer and Business Insight, expects the underlying trend in prices to be downwards over the next few months, but keeping prices stable will be key for retailers to encourage spending.
