Arket's Archive resale now available in UK and Sweden
H&M Group's Arket brand joins the resale market with Arket Archive, a new destination for buying and selling pre-loved designs from the label.
On Thursday (23 November), it debuts in the UK and Sweden as a platform for secondhand ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, and childrenswear from the brand.
According to the company, the resale program aims to connect "beautiful pieces from the wardrobes of the brand's community" with new owners, providing Arket designs an opportunity to find a second, third, or even fourth home.
Customers are encouraged to list their secondhand products and earn cash or a voucher for their next Arket online purchase. This initiative aligns with the brand's vision of providing functional essentials that are meant to be used and cherished for an extended period.

PureDenim revolutionizes the industry by transforming denim into a sustainable fabric
Italian denim producer PureDenim is a true pioneer in the industry, leading the way with groundbreaking advancements such as ultrasound washing and chemical-free indigo powder dilution. Located in Inveruno, just outside of Milan, PureDenim has dedicated itself to developing various technological solutions aimed at minimizing the environmental footprint of the denim manufacturing process. Recently, the company showcased its latest innovation, Color Denim, at the Denim PV trade show in Milan on November 21-22.
PureDenim, founded by Luigi Caccia and his sister Ilaria in 2018, has collaborated with Zaitex, an Italian chemical company specializing in dyes, to develop Color Denim technology. This innovative technology allows denim to be dyed in smaller quantities, resulting in a significant reduction in water consumption. Instead of dyeing the yarn, the focus is on directly dyeing the fabric. With this process, only the warp threads are dyed, while the weft threads remain white, perfectly capturing the authentic denim aesthetic.
Luigi Caccia, during a factory visit on the eve of Denim PV's first day, explained, "Typically, conventional machines require a minimum of 3,000 meters of fabric to dye denim. However, our new method allows manufacturers to dye only the required amount of fabric, resulting in substantial reductions in waste and water consumption, as well as saving time and money."
PureDenim emerged as a successor to Italdenim, a renowned high-end denim company established in 1974 by Mario Caccia, the father of Luigi and Ilaria. Right from the beginning, the siblings were committed to introducing sustainable practices into their family business. The new venture encompasses all stages of denim production. They source cotton fiber from various countries, including Australia, which is then processed at a nearby spinning mill. PureDenim takes charge of dye production, fabric dyeing, washing, and finishing, ensuring that each step minimizes its environmental impact.
